Q: How often will I get paid?
A: BKA pays on the 15th and last day of every month. If either falls on the weekend, we pay the Friday before. Checks arrive via Direct Deposit.

Q: What can I utilize the Tuition Assistance Program for at BKA?
A: You can use it to purchase a textbook or to obtain your PhD, or anything in between. We do not force you to take advantage of the policy but it's there if you choose to do so.

Q: Do I have to accrue my PTO at BKA?
A: No, it is given to you on day one.

Q: What provider does BKA use for health, vision and dental insurance?
A: Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield

Q: How soon after employment do I gain health and vision insurance coverge?
A: Immediately

Q: How soon after employment do I gain dental insurance coverage?
A: The first of the month following employment. Ex: If you're hired March 15th you'll gain coverage April 1st.

Q: How soon after employment am I eligible to contribute to the 401(k) Plan?
A: The first day of the quarter following employment. Quarters are as follows: 1/1, 4/1, 7/1, and 10/1. Ex: If you're hired March 15th you're eligible 4/1.

Q: After I make my first contribution to the 401(k) Plan and BKA matches the first 6%, how soon am I vested?
A: Immediately. BKA does not have a tier or cliff vesting requirement.

Q: Do we hire on a 1099 basis?
A:
No, we currently aren't entering into 1099 relationships on contract at this time.
